Classic YosemitePosted by Photosanity (Folsom, United States) on 1 June 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I have the privilege of living only 3.5 hours from Yosemite National Park, one of the iconic National Parks here in the USA. I have been known to drive there just to spend the day basking in its glory. On this specific day we were in the vicinity for a wildlife model shoot and drove into the Valley for just a couple of hours. This is taken from the famous “Tunnel View” viewpoint and features El Capitan (left) and Half Dome (right). The clouds were moving quickly through the valley, the light was ever changing so I waited until I liked what I saw through the viewfinder and snapped away. Yes, all photographers that visit Yosemite probably have this “classic view” or very similar but personally, I never get tired of viewing them. I am trying to play catch up on viewing your blogs. I have probably another night before I will be caught up. I still have a lot of work and tight timelines to meet for my job, so it might take me a while to respond to your comments or totally catch up with my watches. Please keep the comments coming though, I cherish every one. I will catch up on your blog posts as quickly as I can. Have fun shooting while I work :-).
