Hunting by Moonlight

The Triple D Game Farm visits Mariposa, California every couple of years in April. It’s a good time for them to leave Montana and a great opportunity for us to photograph their wildlife models surrounded by California spring green and wildflowers. On this trip, it was almost a full moon and someone suggested that it would make a good photograph to have the Mountain Lion silhouetted with the moon. I missed getting the really phenomenal shot when the moon was lower on the horizon and the mountain lion could be captured against the moon itself but I was pretty happy with those I did get.

I am trying to play catch up on viewing your blogs. I have probably another night before I will be caught up. I still have a lot of work and tight timelines to meet for my job, so it might take me a while to respond to your comments or totally catch up with my watches. Please keep the comments coming though, I cherish every one. I will catch up on your blog posts as quickly as I can. Have fun shooting while I work :-).
