A Rose is just a rose

December 2007

I had the pleasure of visiting the Rose Garden in Auckland at what I think was the peak of rose season there. I spent hours wandering among the fragrant flowers waiting for the sun to go behind a cloud so that I could snap a few photos of them (does 200+ count for a few?). There was such a range of colors and varieties, I was a bit overwhelmed but the roses I buy for myself are usually the salmon pink color so I gravitated to this flower. I could spend hours (if I had them!) studying the details of the flowers, fascinated by the miracles of nature.

I am trying to play catch up on viewing your blogs. I have probably another night before I will be caught up. I still have a lot of work and tight timelines to meet for my job, so it might take me a while to respond to your comments or totally catch up with my watches. Please keep the comments coming though, I cherish every one. I will catch up on your blog posts as quickly as I can. Have fun shooting while I work :-).
